The story revolves around an orphanage in which Laura grew, but that's left when it was adopted. Years later returned there to establish a home for special children, along with her husband and her sick child. Soon, old stories of the past, invisible friends and the disappearance of her son make Laura has to face the strange events that occur at home. This film done in an intelligent manner to create fear and tension in scenes where anything and everything appears imagines, where looks and reactions are seen in horrific sequences.
The thrilling and shocking tragedy is combined with terror and the result is excellent. The spectator, sometimes jump in their seats, sometimes, cry and at times you'll wonder if a film or a nightmare. The cast is superb: the protagonist of action Belén Rueda shudder for his excellent realism.
In the secondary roles, the actors are showing different facets throughout the film: Fernando Cayo is very expressive and courageous, Geraldine Chaplin convinces even though it appears a few minutes, the child does Roger Príncep action heavy and Montserrat Carulla has a brief role and risky.
